The 20-year-old, whose last album, 'The Deandre Way,' sold a disappointing 13,000 units in its first week, is prepping a collaboration with Drake for Drizzy's highly anticipated 'Take Care' release. "Me and Drake got something coming -- crazy," he revealed to Rap-Up.com. "Drake called me and was like, 'Man, I like the 'Juice' mixtape. I like the 'Zan With That Lean' too. He named four songs off the mixtape that he really liked."
For their collaboration, the Toronto native has plans to travel to Soulja Boy's home turf of Atlanta to knock out the project. "He said he's coming to Atlanta and gon' kick it with me. We gonna go in the studio for a whole week. He's working on his new album too, so you already know what time it is."
While Drake is busy working on his next album, he will also keep his acting career afloat, signing on to appear in the latest installment of the animated film, 'Ice Age.' Soulja Boy may be able to get some acting advice from his friend, as he says he's preparing for a movie roll in the re-make of the 1992 film 'Juice,' where he will take on the roll of Bishop, originally played by Tupac Shakur.
Soulja Boy's dropped his latest mixtape, also titled 'Juice,' on April 20. The rapper filmed the music video for the tape's lead single -- yup, also titled 'Juice' -- this week. Check out behind-the-scenes footage from the shoot here.
