Among his many jabs, Canibus is airing out Budden's personal life. "He boasts on the mic, then he posts on the site," he spits. "Then exposed his whole life for the dope, for a price/ Don't rep the culture right/ Sold his soul for the hype/ Got known overnight for n----s fuckin' his wife/ Got bust in the eyesight and still wouldn't fight!"
The Queens rapper was even harder on Royce, writing him off as a "disgrace to Jersey." The group responded via Twitter, and although Budden received the brunt of the lyrical blows, he seemed the most uninterested in Canibus' quips. Yet, his fellow Slaughterhouse group members were quick to pounce. "Just for the record Canibus been on sum bullshit with SH for months behind the scenes tho," wrote member Crooked I.
"I dont give #2s---s about it either way.. I ignored him when he when he was on bs with me.. Didnt kno dat huh? [sic]" he wrote.
Royce inquired as to why he and Budden are always the focus of industry beefs, while the group's two other members -- Crooked I and Joell Ortiz -- go unnoticed. "Why everybody just always diss me n Joey? Lol it's 2 more gentleman in our group. Why yall never bother them? Scared? Lol prolly so."
Canibus famously battled against LL Cool J over a decade ago, and later with Wyclef, who was once his manager.
