Lauryn Hill May Be Pregnant

Lauryn Hill has been making the rounds on the Moving Target tour, but just as fans are getting used to her being back in the public eye, she may have to take another break to have a baby.

The singer is rumored to be pregnant with her sixth child, and during a performance at the Jazz & Heritage Festival in New Orleans over the weekend, the former Fugees member rocked a baggy dress, raising suspicion that she is covering up a baby bump.

While in Los Angeles last month, Hill also hinted at a possible pregnancy, jokingly calling herself the "most fertile mother in America," before launching into her hit song 'Zion,' which she wrote not long after the birth of her oldest son, who is now a teenager. She also hinted to the crowd that she was holding on to a "big secret."

The 35-year-old has been with longtime love Rohan Marley since 1996. Marley, who is still legally married, is also the father of the couple's five children, the youngest of which, a 3-year-old girl, who went without a first name for up to seven months after her birth.

After a rocky relationship with the music industry and her former group members, Hill slowly but surely made her return to the stage last year before embarking on a national tour. However, old habits appear to die young as the singer has been up to four hours late for many of her performances.

According to reports, the Grammy winner is prepping a follow-up to her hugely successful 'The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill' album, which was released in 1998.

Mental illness. Any young woman who keeps having kids by a married man has some serious issues that extend beyond the mere need to be a mother. The father also has issues in that he's a co-dependent in this madness. Always the crazy ones these days who keep having kids under dubious circumstances.

Lauryn Hill is stuck on Lauryn Hill! Always has been, always will! Her selfish love for herself, has always stymied her career. She needs to get out of the business. She cannot not give herself to her fans and her audiences. A great talent, but a selfish,self-centered one. I always pictured her as the next Cicely Tyson.

It's so amazing to read the aforementioned comments... That said, I have always been a fan of Ms. Hill, and am sorry that her professional road has not been the greatest. Still, Ms. Hill is an awesome talent - both musically and in acting (remeber Sister Act II?), and it saddens me that (IT APPEARS!!!) Ms. Hill doesn't value HERSELF as she should. I wonder what Bob Marley would say about this strange set of circumstances that this family is in. What about the kids? Ms. Hill, the best of luck to you and your family - and PLEASE share again with the world your AMAZING VOICE - we miss you, Ms. Hill!!

All I can say is that I hope she brings it because her last big hit album was a long time ago with poor attempts at redemption since then. I guess being involved in such trifling circumstances for the last 15 yrs gives you plenty to sing about, though.

No, I am just a young retired guy that is sick of hearing about nobody's who claim to be talented stars. You must be into the real talent these days, You know, the wonderful 50 cent, Tupac shakur, Lady Gag Gag and the rest of the no-talent wanna be "entertainers."
