The 7th annual festival will be held at the Commodore Barry Park in New York City's Fort Greene neighborhood on August 27 and 28. Currently, the lineup includes Santigold, Fishbone, Toro Y Moi, Reggie Watts, Ninjasonik and Rock Business with more acts to be announced.
In additional to the musical menu, this year's two-day extravaganza will feature food from the city's most popular food vendors, as part of the Afro-Punk Bites and Beats Food Truck Festival. Further entertainment will be provided by the NikeBattle For the Streets Skate and BMX Competition, which will be judged by a panel of athletes including Nigel Sylvester.
Afro Punk headliner Cee Lo Green gave his most recent high-profile performance at the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday night (May 22), where he executed a medley of his hits 'Forget You,' 'Bright Lights Big City' and 'Crazy.'
