Last year's inaugural OVO Fest featured a number of acts including Bun B, Young Jeezy, Kardinal Offishall, Fabolous, Young Jeezy, Eminem and Jay-Z. Rick Ross, who just released his Maybach Music Group's 'Self Made, Vol. 1' compilation album this week, performed last year as well. Drake currently appears on 'Made Men,' a single from Rick Ross' forthcoming solo album, 'God Forgives, I Don't.'
The Weeknd is a Canadian alternative R&B artist (or group, depending on who you ask) that gained more recognition after Drake tweeted lyrics from a song called 'Wicked Game,' off their 'House of Balloons' mixtape. Recently, Drake has been recording music with the Weeknd's Abel Tesfaye.
Earlier this week, Drake leaked 'Dreams Money Can Buy,' the intro track from his sophomore album, 'Take Care,' which is due out later this year. He also appeared on the latest episode of the animated series 'The Lebrons.'
Tickets for OVO Fest go on sale on June 3 at 11AM via Ticketmaster.
