In tribute to M-Bone the remaining three group members released the new track 'How to Do That' in his honor. Despite his tragic demise, the group paid homage with an up-beat, techno-inspired track about M-Bone's life and death, which officially drops today. "We remember he couldn't pronounce a lot of words right," group member Yung told MTV, poking fun at his friend. "When he said 'phone,' he used to say 'foam.' Like, 'Pass me my foam.'"
As previously reported, the 22-year-old was gunned down in front of a liquor store in his neighborhood on May 15. Although no official motive has been unveiled, reports claim that his death was the result of a beef with his girlfriend's jealous ex-boyfriend. One thing that the group has made clear is that M-Bone's death was not gang related, despite claims to the contrary.
Anyone with any information on the death of M-Bone is encouraged to contact the Inglewood Police Department via their homicide department at (310) 412-5246 or the 24-hour anonymous hotline number (888) 412-7463. Funeral services will be held at the Faithful Central on 333 West Florence Avenue in Inglewood beginning at 11AM PST.
