The Cash Money millionaire tweeted the news on Wednesday (June 1), just one day after the Heat beat the Dallas Mavericks in Game One of the championship. "YMCMBu$iness I Bet. 2million on tha MiaMi Heat," he wrote. "Goin [sic] bye [sic] me another muthafkin WHip.we tha BusiNESS.I'm on 1.mula krazy."
As the head of the Cash Money umbrella, home to the likes of Lil Wayne, Bow Wow, Nicki Minaj and Drake, Birdman has amassed an estimated $100 million fortune.
The 42-year-old is not shy about spending his money either. In April, he paid $8 million for a Mercedes Maybach Exelero. The German sports car comes complete with a v12 turbo engine, and has been on the market since 2005. He also owns a Bugatti Veyron, worth $1.2 million.
If the Heat defeat the Mavericks, Birdman might take his winnings to another car dealership. No word yet on who he's betting against.
