In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Minaj explained that she became a rapper by accident, and would love to possibly work with the likes of Will Smith and be directed by Tim Burton. "I went to school to be an actress. I never expected to be a rapper. It just fell in my lap," she explained. "I would like to get an acting gig. I hope that when I am done with the tour I can go back and do some acting. That is my long-term goal."
Minaj is preparing to hit the road with Britney Spears for her Femme Fatale tour, and promises that she will give fans a night to remember. "I want to go all out and make it over the top and theatrical," the 'Pink Friday' creator revealed. "There will be costume changes and hair changes. Lots of sexy outfits and dancing. I don't know how to do things normal and boring. Why? People pay good money for concert tickets these days."
If her tour with Lil Wayne and the rest of her Young Money crew is any indication as to the level of sexiness fans can expect this go 'round, they're in for a treat. The 26-year-old donned a colorful body suit, Marge Simpson-esque wig at every tour stop on the I Am Still Music tour, and also gave out nightly lap dances to one lucky fan -- Wayne received one himself, who got a front row seat to Minaj's dance skills at two shows -- during every performance.
Following her trek with Spears, Minaj is said to continue working on her sophomore album and will headline her very first Pink Friday tour next year.
