"I would have to agree with him," Prodigy tells HipHopDX. "Most of these politicians and these government officials ... most of them are the real terrorists."
The Queensbridge MC famously rapped "Illuminati got my mind soul and my body, secret society trying to keep their eye on me," on LL Cool J's 'I Shot Ya (Remix),' which is just an inkling of his familiarity with various conspiracy theories. "I was definitely checking [Obama] out and seeing what he was doing and what he was about," said the 'Keep It Thoro' rapper. "But I already knew ahead of time -- I've been studying all that type of stuff since like 15, 16 years old, so... You can't pull the wool over my eyes. I already know what time it is."
Prodigy's schedule has been quite busy since his release from prison after serving three years for weapons charges. He has released a book, 'My Infamous Life,' dropped a free mixtape called 'The Ellsworth Bumpy Johnson' EP, made peace with Nas and recorded a song with G-Unit nemesis Rick Ross.
Hard at work on their forthcoming album, Mobb Deep is performing at the Rock the Bells Festival this summer.
