Mottola, 61, divorced pop superstar Mariah Carey in 1998, and married Thalia in 2000. Their new son Matthew weighed seven pounds, 14 ounces in New York and a representative for the couple told the New York Post, "All are well and they couldn't be any happier."
Matthew is Mottola and Thalia's second child together. The couple had daughter Sabrina in 2007, and Mottola has two other children from a previous relationship.
Mottola is co-owner of Casablanca Records in a joint venture with the Universal Music Group and has worked with stars like Hall & Oates, Carly Simon, John Mellencamp, Diana Ross, Mariah Carey, Gloria Estefan, Jessica Simpson and Jennifer Lopez.
Thalia is working on her 11th studio album and has had roles in multiple soap operas, TV shows and movies.
