According to Nielsen SoundScan, Queen Bey's total tallies to 310,000 units sold, besting G.O.O.D. Music rapper Big Sean's debut album, 'Finally Famous,' which entered the top 10 at No. 3 with 87,000 copies sold.
'4' is Beyonce's fourth studio LP to top the Billboard charts, making her the third artist to see their fourth album soar to No. 1. She is only the second woman to receive the honor, Britney Spears being the first when she released her four albums during 1999 and 2003. Rhymer DMX joined the fold when his five LPs took a top charting position between 1998 and 2003.
The sales for '4' are an accomplishment for the 'Run the World (Girls)' performer but remains the lowest selling effort of her career. 'Dangerously in Love,' released in 2003, came in with 317,000, 'B'Day' entered the charts with 541,000 and 2008's 'I Am...Sasha Fierce' bowed with 482,000.
