When the rapper-turned-home improvement expert was 16, he came on the seen with his famed hit 'Ice Ice Baby,' but the attention he garnered fogged his view. "Sold over a hundred million records," Ice tells the Huffington Post. "And I had a weekend that lasted about three years, and I didn't know who I was, what's my purpose in life."
As for where Ice, born Rob Van Winkle, thinks the 17-year-old 'Baby' crooner will be in a few years, it seems he believes Bieber will get tossed to the side much in the same way he did when his one-hit wonder faded into oblivion.
"So my prediction about Bieber is that he's going to go through one of those weekends that lasts a few years because he's had such success as a child act," he admitted. "You know, then something else new will come along and he'll be forgotten and he can try to put all the pieces back together, so it's going to be entertaining to watch."
On the music front, Vanilla Ice is reportedly crafting a new album. In his personal life, the 43-year-old Texas native recently split from his wife, Laura Giaritta after 14 years of marriage due to allegations she was unfaithful.
