Lauryn Hill Gives Birth to Sixth Child, Endured Labor Scare

Lauryn Hill has announced she gave birth to a baby boy, her sixth child, on Saturday, July 23. The newborn boy's name has yet to be publicly announced.

The birth may come as a surprise, as the notoriously private former Fugees frontwoman hid her pregnancy from the public for months before finally confirming she had another bun in the oven and messaging fans about her pregnancy, just last month.

It seems like the baby boy has been born into a bit of controversy as well. Rohan Marley, the father of the 36-year-old's five other children and son of reggae royalty Bob Marley, has denied fathering Hill's latest child.

To add insult to injury, Rohan reportedly dropped his pregnant long-time partner for Brazilian supermodel Isabeli Fontana -- rumors Marley has since denied.

A source close to Lauryn confirmed the baby news and announced, "Mother and baby are fine," after having "a little scare because the baby came out the womb with the umbilical cord wrapped around his neck."

"All is well now and everyone is happy," the source added.

There is no possible way that a celebrity has the time for one child, let alone SIX... The housekeepers/nannies/etc. are raising her kids. She can afford hired help. So, it's not bad enough that she doesn't raise them herself, she's not even married! The morals in this world have been destroyed. She's setting a horrible example for her children. Shame on her.

Great as if she wasn't crazy enopugh a 6th baby denied by who she says is the dad. It's a shame she had a lot of talent but her own mind destroyed her.

having a child out of wedlock once ....Hey it happens. But Come on Man!! Are you f'n serious? Six of them?? It matters not if in fact she can ...and should take care of them. What kind of example is she setting for anyone who might look up to her. Personally, I couldnt tell you what she sings, sang, or has sung. She is setting a horrible example. Tie those tubes girl.

What does 2 arms have to do with having only 2 children, that's right children. Kids are baby goats. What about the parents that have twins and triplets? The mother only have 2 arms. And don't tell me that it was due to invetrofertalization. My niece had twins with out any drugs.
