Soulja Boy Planning Removal of Face Tattoos

A week after fabricating a story about purchasing a $55 million G5 jet for his birthday, 21-year-old rapper Soulja Boy has revealed that he has begun the painful process of getting his face tattoos removed.

On Thursday morning (August 4), the 'Pretty Boy Swag' rapper surprised fans with a tweet announcing the removal of his some of his most infamous ink, which includes "SODMG," the acronym for his Stacks On Deck Money Gang label above his left eyebrow, the phrase "A LIFE" above his right, Chinese characters down his left cheek, and a cross under his right eye.

"Just woke in new york its a good day bless everybody reading this tweet live it up," Soulja Boy tweeted. "I'm getting my face tattoos removed today."

The removal, a procedure more painful than the initial tattoing, is perhaps an effort to discourage the growing trend of face tats in hip-hop, which his mentor 50 Cent has criticized in the past.

"That's the craziest thing," 50 explained in an interview back in March. "Not necessarily Gucci [Mane], but to tattoo your face says that there's not a possibility that you can actually walk into a legitimate establishment without makeup covering your face every day. That does not work."

While he has yet to tweet photos of his new grill, Soulja Boy is currently hard at work (on Twitter, anyway) promoting his new Ocean Gang anthem, 'Swag Daddy.'

And this is news because...? Maybe this actually IS a good idea so when his 15 minutes of fame (coming up on that pretty quickly I would imagine) is over he will be presentable enough to get a REAL job in the REAL world.

What? He gave up on looking like a loser? After removal, he can ink whatever and wash it off when he wants to go out to a "legitimate establishement", as 50 cents said. I was too wondering how he managed the jet purchase, considering his income from sales. Those guys do not buy on payments, they buy cash.

he really disgusts me because of his obnoxious attitude and he thinks he is so tough when he's just a scrawny little punk. And I just can't figure out how he can possibly afford to buy himself a $55 million dollar G5 private jet (which started at $35 million until he customized it) for his 21st birthday!!! His last record sold 13,000 copies it's first week and his big brag was that he sold over a million copies of a single which at .99 a piece, then after taxes, managers, agents, lawyers, etc... leaves about $100,000. How with numbers like that can this punk afford that jet? I just don't get it. Friggin Jay Z, 50 Cent and Eminem don't even own a G5 and they NEVER sol a pathetic 13,000 copies of an album, unless you're talking about the 13,000 they sell in the first 10 minutes it's on the shelf. What the hell is going on where he can afford a G5? How did our society sink to the point of making this scum that rich and famous for NOTHING! Did you hear his garbage. It's nothing but auto tune and nonsensical stupid repititious lyrics. He doesn't even have good hooks. What the hell is a pretty boy swag? Ugh. Whatever it is, he and it make me want to hurl.

You took the words right out of my mouth! ......some of them...lol When I first heard him on the radio I laughed so hard because I JUST KNEW it was some joke that the radio station was playing. Boy, was I sooo wrong!!
