The outgoing DJ with hair of steel has cashed in on his popularity, charging up to $50,000 a night to spin at different venues, and recently signed to 50 Cent's G-Unit records. While the latter seems unconventional, seeing as how Pauly isn't a rapper, he's excited to be working with Fif and the G-Unit team. "I'm really happy to be working with him, I've been a fan of his," Pauly tells The Boombox. "If there's anybody I can link up with, it's 50 and I can't wait to do an album."
As of yet, Pauly isn't sure which direction he will be going in musically, but doesn't rule out rapping. "That's a good question. [My album will have] a little bit of everything. [It will be] Pauly D-style mixing. A little bit of DJ Khaled, little bit of David Guetta, LMFAO-type stuff, and I wanna work with other artists, too."
For now, the Rhode Island native can be seen every week taking on the streets of Italy and partying the night away on 'Jersey Shore,' which airs Thursday nights on MTV.
