According to the Associated Press, the novel is set to tell the tale of two childhood friends torn apart by "dangerous dealings" on the streets of Atlanta, Ga. -- not a far cry from T.I.'s storied past as a trap star.
Fresh out of the clink, the 30-year-old 'No Mercy' creator is also preparing himself for another round of reality TV. VH1 has announced plans for a new show starring T.I. as he makes his adjustment to life as a free man following a 10-month incarceration.
Viewers will get a behind-the-scenes look at his recording process in the studio, as he prepares to release his eighth studio album. They'll also watch very personal moments when he reunites with his children and wife Tameka "Tiny" Cottle despite now living in a halfway house in Georgia while he finishes out the remainder of his sentence.
T.I.'s VH1 reality series, which features 10 30-minute episodes, premieres Dec. 5 at 10PM.
