Beyonce Will Form Boy Band, Create Own Record Label

Beyonce may be pregnant but that hasn't slowed her hustle. The mother-to-be, who was recently in New York promoting her third fragrance Pulse, has new ventures on the horizon, some in which she will take a backseat to the spotlight.

The Houston native plans to follow in the footsteps of her father, Mathew Knowles -- he created the Music World Music imprint -- by forming her own record label. "I am starting my company, my label," the 30-year-old R&B star told the Associated Press. "I see so many male artists building these empires and passing their knowledge on to other artists and development. I see myself doing the same thing and hopefully other younger artists when they grow up and they have been around for 15, 20 years, they can do the same thing.

With a wealth of experience behind her, Beyonce also has artist management on her mind. "I want to create a boy band," the former Destiny's Child frontwoman shared.

Pregnancy hasn't prevented her from press appearances or interviews, however, in the coming months, the wife and expectant mom will have to work on one important aspect of her life. "Balance," she revealed. "I am still working on balance and still growing."

While Beyonce is still promoting her fourth studio album, '4,' she recently unveiled new designs, alongside her mother, Tina Knowles, for her clothing line, House of Dereon, during a fashion show in London.

Over and over nothing but "pregnant singer, pregnant star". Believe it or not Beyonce is not the 1st singer to become pregnant. What is the big deal? And so tired of the 'baby bump' crap.

she has certianly had enough time in the music business to be good at what she does....but its all kinda cliched....the singing career, the movies, the clothing line the fragrance, the record label.......but i bet she wont be taking any auditions for white boys

good for B. Im glad that she is doing something that she might be pretty good at aside from singing and performing. my wife says "she has been acting" and allow me to repeat myself when I say something that she might be good at. She knows the game and she has been around her father enough to know about good management. The name of the new group "Destiny's grandchild". Good luck Beyonce (because Im sure she is reading this post).

I think she can be a good manager , she has been in the business for so long . It seems like she just doesnt quit even with all her success and her husbands success and it looks like she is trying to work even harder now that she is pregnant , i think she needs to slow down with all of that because soon she will not be able to move around that much because of the pregnancy and symptoms. I wonder why she is starting a boy band and not a girls band ? hmmm thats strange because she started off in a girl band and she should have a girl band to pass her knowledge to im sure she can make it successful , and I think she would do alot better with a girl band.

OMG a pregnant niggruh. This is news ? The koon is so ashamed of her own race she is following in Michael Jacksons and many other negros footsteps by spending a fortune trying to have doctors, photograohers and make-up artists make them look like regular people. She still looks like a man in drag though even with her bleached skin and hair.

If the new world order exterminates ANYONE, it should be people like you!!!! Godfrey Cambridge made a movie about people like you, it's called, "Watermelon Man". Why a boy band Beyonce? Are you afraid of some old fashioned competition? There are plenty of girl bands that have made it : Destinys Child , Spice Girls , The Bangles to name just a few. You say you know male artists that have started their own labels and passed their knowledge on to other artists , give the girls a break too?

I SO AGREE! The Bangles opened that door and women in the industry should make sure it always swings open. They owe En Vogue too for the success of Destiny's Child. Give back! It's already a mans world...

The Bangles?? Have you ever heard of The Andrews Sisters, The Boswell Sisters, The Chordettes, The Ronettes, The Crystallettes, The Chicklettes, The Mermaids, The Supremes, The Cookies, Cake, Reparatta & The Delrons, Heart, Fanny, The Android Sisters, The Go-Gos and countless others I can't even think of off the top of my head? Look them up and you'll find that, with the possible exception of The Go-Gos, they ALL came LONG before the Bangles!!
