Snoop Settles Half-Million Dollar Tax Lien

Snoop DoggEarl Gibson III, FilmMagic

When you're super famous, it can be hard to remember simple errands like brushing your teeth, getting milk from the store, or if you're Snoop Dogg: paying your taxes.

According to the IRS (via HipHopDX) the legendary West Coast emcee didn't even bother filing taxes in '08 which pinned a half-million dollar lien on Snoop and co.

The Detroit News now reports that the rapper has settled a $476,338 bill with the government agency after he chipped away at the mighty sum for several years.

We've seen a lot more of Snoop Dogg recently since his tax troubles abounded. Hopefully having headlined Rothbury music fest, working on the 'High School' movie and soundtrack with Wiz Khalifa and starring in a new family sitcom will help the doggfather get back on top.

Yeah, now if we can only get Buffett to cough up that one billion in back taxes he owes...ditto for liberal Google paying only 2.6% in taxes while raking in billions............ and government employees paid more than the average citizen and the Obama administration that owes a collective cool one billion to the "gubmint"

Celebrity Net worth states that Snoop Dogg has a net worth of $110 million, why scluff off on not paying 1/2 million in taxes? I mean Snoop's not broke. Snoop's cool.
