Kelly Rowland Explains Boob Job, Tired of 'Little Nuggets'

Kelly Rowland is coming clean about some physical alterations she's made, though she has no regrets in going under the knife.

The former Destiny's Child member speaks in a candid interview with Cosmopolitan UK, in which she appears on the cover, and explains reasons behind her decision to receive breast implants. Rowland admits she was tired of having "little nuggets for boobs" and as a result opted to undergo surgery in October 2007 -- the photo above shows Rowland pre-augmentation in 2004 (on left) and post-augmentation in 2011.

"The decision was 10 years in the making, so I'm comfortable talking about it," the 30-year-old admitted. "It's something I really wanted to do for myself -- not for a man, not for work, for myself. And I love them!"

She also opened up about her childhood, where she grew up without a father, and sought comfort in watching episodes of 'The Cosby Show.'

"It's nothing I want a pity party for," she shared. "He left me and my mom, and I was angry. I wanted to be a Daddy's Girl so bad. God damn 'The Cosby Show' because that made me think, 'Why aren't my family like that?'"

"More than anything it's taught me to provide my future children with a great father, and make sure I make the right decision when it comes to men," Kelly said.

Sharing sentiments like this gives an inkling as to the 'Motivation' performer's current mindset, in which children don't seem to be in the foreseeable future -- unlike her childhood friend and longtime collaborator Beyonce -- nor a wedding.

I think she looks beautiful from the shoulders up, if she wants to look beautiful from the shoulders down, why not? Having implants is a major boost to personal morale, I applaud her and hope nobody will think its just another bid for celebrity attention. She's simply beautiful.

I think people want to hate on her, but I figure if she's doing if for herself and for nobody else then good for her. She didn't get them huge and gaudy and they seem more uniform. If they make her happy and she spent 10 years trying to decide on whether to get them or not, I think she made a very informed decision.

Perfectly matched softballs with no natural cleavage. I would hardly call her natural breasts "little nuggets". She wanted a difference because of some mis-guided illusion of vanity.
