Christina Milian and The-Dream Are Officially Divorced

Nearly a year after reaching a divorce settlement, The-Dream and Christina Milian have been legally freed from one another.

According to TMZ, a judge in Fulton County, Ga., has finalized the divorce, officially ending a marriage that hit the skids mere months after the couple's September 2009 Las Vegas wedding.

While The-Dream, born Terius Nash, filed for divorce in February 2010, just nine days before Milian gave birth to their daughter, Violet, the pair kept their split private until July 2010. Around that time, photos surfaced of the singer and producer vacationing with his assistant, leading to allegations of infidelity.

The divorce seemingly came as good news to Milian, who tweeted a thank-you to her loved ones.

"Love Love Love the people around me," the singer, dancer and actress wrote Oct. 22. "My Family & Friends are so special to me, 143 u guys! God is Good. :) your presence is a gift."

On the music front, both entertainers are working on forthcoming projects. Recently, The-Dream dropped '1977,' a free 11-song album to preface his fourth studio LP, 'The Love, IV: Diary of a Madman,' which is set for a fall release. Milian is currently crafting her fourth album as well, though no title has been revealed.

Between aol and boombox they need to take some courses in music. They dont know the difference between rap and hip hop, a rapper and an emcee and now they just pretend R&B singers are rappers.. Anyone there have any education in regards to music? Next they will refer to lil wayne a great emcee or Puffy as old school.

Very amusing. First, AOL, he is a rapper. If you guys see a black male you automatically label him a rapper. Take 3 seconds out to google. It is not hard. Second, the comments about rap in here are amazing. It is as valid a music form as country. If you do not like it fine, move on, but do not be so crude as to proclaim some one is trash or ghetto because they like rap. I love all kinds of music with the exception of death metal and the kind of country where a dog gets shot, wife leaves him and best friend dies all in the same song. I know many people who feel the same. Its 2011, judge people off more than what they listen to, better yet expand your horizons. As for the dream, how is he even getting women O_o Have a nice day eeryone

Dream is a singer/producer. Stop labeling every male in urban music a rapper.

What the HECK is urban music? Stop it .... it's not really music, now is it? Admit it --- while there is an audience, it's limited to one ethnic group and some teens --- that wont give it any lasting effect on music history.

You either live in a box or don't ever get out. Hip Hop and Rap are one of the largest selling brands of music there is. It is international, used in all forms of advertising, used at sports arenas, used in high schools, minor leagues, and in kids shows.Hundreds of millions listen to either rap or hip hop. Granted I don't like rap but hip hop i love and it is everywhere. You can walk outside and out of 20 people I bet 15 will be able to name an artists or song. Country not so much, rock n roll well it died and now you got that pop rcok stuff that sucks. You may want to come out of 1972.

He is more of a nightmare, he changes wives like he changes his clothes. Absolutely no concept of love, trust, commitment or faithfulness. Cannot respect that at all....
