Its so sad I heard from a close source of the entertainer that Beyonce did hire a surrogate mother from Brazil, Due to the fact that she and Jay-Z have been going to top fertility in los angeles California for the past 3 years and Beyonce is unable to get pregnant, She really wanted to have a baby to complete their marriage. It's so funny to me when people bash the validity or necessity of celebrity news stories. Yes, there are many more important events going on in the world at any given time. Are these stories NOT reported? I would say that the vast majority of them ARE. News is not just about hardcore stories of crime, war, pain, and suffering; it is not just hard-hitting investigative reports! There are feel-good stories on the news that can be about any number of things from an animal rescue to a downtrodden person winning the lottery. News reports need the same type of balance that we have in real life! Real life is not always raw and gritty; it does not always cause you to think deeply or evoke sympathy!

Celebrity news is just one PART of the news that is reported on a daily basis. I'm not one to really keep up with a whole lot of it, but I do check on this story from time to time because I am a Beyonce fan and I do want to know what is going on! That doesn't mean that I don't care about stories with more substance or more relevance to my community or my every day life! Most people are curious about how other people live, both celebrities and sometimes 'regular' people, hence the high popularity of reality shows! If this is not true for you, then that's not so strange. It's called a PREFERENCE and we all have them!

As for people commenting about the level of care she can expect, all I can say is 'Huh?' Is it strange that people with major money have access to better healthcare than the rest of us? It's not about her celebrity, but about her MONEY! And yes, if I had that kind of money, for the birth of my child, I'd do everything humanly possible to ensure a healthy birth experience for the child and myself! I think that most people would do the same.

I hope she leaves the stiletto heels at home. No need to jump into the stirrups weraing a pair of Louboutins.

I am very happy for the mother to be and the father, but why not remind people of how many babies have no food or a warm blanket right here in this country.

Because reporting celebrity babies being born sell rags and celebrity parents sell the photos for huge sums of money.
