Bobby Brown 'Deeply Saddened' by Whitney Houston's Death -- Video

Singer Bobby Brown has felt the impact of Whitney Houston's death most, considering he was married to the brilliant vocalist for almost 15 years. The New Edition frontman kept himself out of the eyes of the press immediately following his ex-wife's passing but is now speaking out on the tragic event.

"I am deeply saddened at the passing of my ex-wife, Whitney Houston," the Massachusetts native told People magazine. "At this time we ask for privacy, especially for my daughter, Bobbi Kristina."

When Brown heard the news that Houston's body was found in a bathtub in a room at the Beverly Hilton hotel in L.A., he was scheduled to perform at a concert in Mississippi. The 43-year-old attempted to finish his set -- he did 10 songs over the course of an hour -- but appeared visibly shaken onstage before calling it quits.

His daughter, Bobbi Kristina, was taken to Cedars-Sinai Hospital in L.A. Sunday morning (Feb. 12) to be treated for stress and anxiety as a result of her mother's death. She has since been released.

Who's to say that Whitney was not using drugs beofre she me Bobby? We may be influenced by others but at the end of the day we as adults are accountable for our own actions and by the way Bobby had several children prior to marrying Whitney and she knew about all of them! Bobby is a good man...he has had his share of problems as well! Lets refrain from throwing stones...it could be you or I next! Only he without any sin should cast a stone!!!!

AGREED.. ITs Bobby that should be 6 ft under, not Whitney .She was an innocent church mouse when she met him. He is ruinous. No wonder the daughter had a panic attack--knowing she has just that ahole now for a parent. Think of how many women he impregnated while she was married to him. And in the end, she died penniless, but with friends. He still roams around freely and will be the scourge to those around him. Might as well be a drug pimp.. that is what he is most successful at now.
