Juvenile Arrest Warrant: Is Rapper Behind on Child Support?

Following the news yesterday (Feb. 24) afternoon that a judge in Louisiana had issued a warrant for his arrest, rapper Juvenile denied reports he's a deadbeat dad.

"This is a bunch of bulls---," Juve told TMZ.com, mere hours after he'd officially become a wanted man in his home state. According to court documents, the New Orleans rhymer owes more than $160,000 in child support and has not paid Dionne Williams, the mother of his 13-year-old son, a single red cent since December 2006.

"I was never informed that there was a warrant out for my arrest," he told the gossip site.

"My son stays with me most of the time," he added. "I take care of my son ... I love my son."

Born Terius Gray, the 'Slow Motion' MC can avoid jail time by coughing up $50,000 right away, TMZ reports, and arranging to pay the remainder over time. Whether he'll seek such an arrangement remains to be seen, but in the meantime, Juvenile seems intent on staying out of prison.

"Now that I know, my lawyer is on it," he said. "I'm going to handle it."

he should be able to prove he paid some kind of way. and I have seen his soon with him quite often. He should just get custody. Still won't solve the issue of the child support, but if you have the child the majority of the time you shouldn't be paying mommy support..or daddy support..both sexes can be deadbeats

so, according to court documents, he hasn't paid any child support since 2006, and he thinks that's okay?? didn't he ever try to take responsibility for his payments?? so he thinks because his son "stays w/me most of the time", that lets him off the hook?? he is juvenile...he really is..........and he's a loser also, like most of these "keepin' it real" lowlife, scumbag rappers.....nothing to be admired about them at all....sexually reckless sperm donors....
