NEW YORK (AP) - NFL players are used to a profession that's tough and unforgiving.

Now the league is trying to help some players and retired players who are looking to get into a business that can be just as hard -- music.

The NFL's player engagement division paired this week with New York University's Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music, which is part of the Tisch School of the Arts, for the "Business of Music Boot Camp." The camp has key figures from music mogul Davis to record company executives and managers who offer their insights in small sessions with the players.

Jeffrey Rabhan is the institute's department chair. He says the music game is not just about having talent, it's about how you use it.
