Known for his start on MTV reality show "From G's to Gents," starring rapper Fonzworth Bentley, Riff Raff told Fuse that the esteemed actor is officially playing him in the movie, which apparently also stars singer Selena Gomez, actress Vanessa Hudgens and southern rhymer Gucci Mane -- a photo from the set can be viewed below.
Riff Raff revealed that Korine actually contacted him to play a drug dealer in "Spring Breakers," but because he was out of the country, the Stacks on Deck Music Group signee had to pass on the offer.
According to Riff Raff, Korine said, "'Yeah, man, I want you to be in this movie, but we only got a certain timeframe' or whatever," he disclosed. "'I wanted you in this movie with James Franco and Selena Gomez and Gucci Mane... But we're already behind!'"

To fully embrace Riff Raff's persona, he sent Franco items that would assist in his character study. "I sent him a few things," Riff Raff revealed. "But all you gotta do [to see how I dress] is search through my videos. I got a pretty distinct style, with the braids, the jewelry."
Though he wasn't available to fill the role, Riff Raff feels "privileged" James Franco is bringing his life to the big screen. He even went so far as to compare the experience to Denzel Washington's career.
"Even though I couldn't be a part of this project, I'm still glad that James Franco could play the role of me," he stated. "That's like if Denzel Washington was playing the role of O.J. Simpson. Even though it's not O.J. Simpson, O.J. Simpson still gotta be like, 'Denzel Washington is playing me.'"
"Spring Breakers" is currently being filmed. The movie, directed by "Kids" creator Harmony Korine, is set for a 2013 release. The premise: four college girls land in jail after robbing a restaurant in order to fund their spring break trip. The ladies are bailed out by a drug dealer -- James Franco -- who wants them to engage in some illegal activities.
