Theraflu, Kanye West: Cold Medicine Company Doesn't Endorse New Song

Kanye West's explosive new track 'Theraflu' isn't just making Kris Humphries angry. As NME reports, the makers of the anti-cold medicine have spoken out against West's latest single.

"We in no way endorse or approve of the references or use of the image and likeness of Theraflu in this manner," a spokesman for the company tells TMZ.

Theraflu makes no mention of suing the rapper for his unlicensed use of their product, but their disapproval of the song may lead the way to legal proceedings. The DJ Kahled collaboration broke across the internet yesterday at the same time West was spotted with recently divorced reality superstar Kim Kardashian.

"I'll admit I fell in love with Kim/ Around the same time she fell in love with him/ Well that's cool, baby girl, do your thing/ Lucky I ain't have Jay drop him from the team," Kanye West rhymes about his supposed new lady and her basketball star ex-husband.

"Theraflu is an over-the-counter product used to help relieve cold and flu symptoms that millions of consumers rely on," the company's statement continues. It sounds like Theraflu is pretty sick from Kanye's new tune. Is this the beginning of a legal cold for Kanye West, or does the cough medicine enjoy the free advertising?
