Mint Condition 'Believe in Us' Video: Crooners Prove Classic R&B Is Alive

Shanachie Entertainment

Mint Condition prove the sound of classic R&B still thrives in the video for "Believe in Us," a song featured on their forthcoming eighth album, Music @ the Speed of Life, due later this year.

In the G. Visuals-directed clip, the five crooners show up with their respective special ladies, asking the question, "Do you believe in us?" They laugh over drinks and cruise down the street in a pricey ride as the soulful fivesome -- Stokley Williams, Ricky Kinchen, Homer O'Dell, Larry Waddell and Jeffrey Allen -- belt out their lines.

"We love all our music babies but it's unanimous," Mint Condition tells The BoomBox. "We all feel Music @ the Speed of Life is our best since Definition of a Band. It's fresh and modern, musically challenging and always a nod to the past."

Music @ the Speed of Life is set to feature DJ Jazzy Jeff on the funky ode "Girl of My Life," while "649 Changes" brings together Brother Ali and the M-Factory Horns.
