Young Jeezy is preparing to take office. The Corporate Thug MC has announced that he will be accepting a position as Vice President of A&R at Atlantic Records.

"From the streets to the Boardroom. SVP of A&R at Atlantic Records I am. Let's Get it!" he tweeted. "Corporate thuggin to the max!"

Jeezy follows in the footsteps of Jermaine Dupri, Jim Jones, Ne-Yo and of course, Jay-Z, in taking on the label gig. At Atlantic, he'll work to develop talent, sign artists and oversee the label's current roster, which includes T.I., Wiz Khalifa, Diggy Simmons and Lupe Fiasco.

Jeezy is currently signed to Def Jam, with whom he has released four LPs. He also co-owns Def Jam imprint Corporate Thugz Entertainment (CTE), which features rappers Freddie Gibbs, Slick Pulla, Boo Rossini and his group USDA.
