The Atlanta native is at the center of a sexual battery investigation being conducted by the LAPD. The female victim, whose identity is being withheld, filed a police report with law enforcement officials, accusing CeeLo of assaulting her in a sexual manner.
TMZ reports that CeeLo, 38, denies any wrongdoing. Details of the investigation are scarce, yet news of police visiting a L.A. restaurant named in the case has emerged. Employees and a manager at the location are being questioned.
A source close to the entertainer supports his claims of innocence. "I have never seen CeeLo act in a physical way toward anybody," the insider states.
