Ross arrived ahead of her daughter at the Italian eatery La Scala and was told that since she didn't have a reservation, she would not be seated until her party was complete. The diva threw a fit and sat herself in a booth anyway.
Management came to her table and informed Ross that if she cut the line for a table she would not be served. Ross refused to move. Once her daughter arrived a scene erupted, ending in both women leaving the restaurant in a huff.
The Post spoke with La Scala owner Gigi Leon who said:
"I'm sorry that Miss Ross had a problem with that and she feels that the rules didn't apply to her. Our policy is that we don't sit incomplete parties. If people jump the line, our policy is we don't serve them, and she was told that.
"We treat everyone the same whether you're famous or not. We love having her as a customer. We'd be happy to have her back."
A rep for Ross had no comment for The Post on the incident.
