Beyonce, Inauguration 2013: Watch Singer Perform National Anthem

Inauguration 2013 would not be complete without one of President Barack Obama's biggest supporters, Beyonce, lending her talents to the cause.

Donning a conservative black dress, the singer belted out the "Star Spangled Banner," but did her best not to add many vocal embellishments, perhaps in an effort to not upstage the President.

This is not the first time Beyonce has helped Obama celebrate a Presidential term. She sang Etta James' classic "At Last" at his 2009 inauguration. Today, however, she opted for a timeless classic, as did singer/songwriter James Taylor, who sang "America the Beautiful," and Kelly Clarkson, who performed "My Country, 'Tis of Thee."

Who cares if she lip sync - Why make such a fuss over non essentials? There are more things to take on - Its all over guys get on with life. The world did not stop did it? Lets get back to money talk, health care and morality etc. Jay-Z and Bey can donate some of their money to USA money problems- The cost of Their clothes would feed many children or homeless right here at home. Lets deal with gun violence,jobs and education.

I had no idea she was Lip-Synching until they pointed it out. Even though it really bothers me, I would rather have her lip-synch than fail in front of the whole world. Whether she lip-synchs or really sings, I still love her.

Really???? Beyoncé "chose a timeless classic" to sing? Would that be the National Anthem of which you speak? Lip synching is a lot like having silk flowers at a wedding.

I wasn't able to watch this Beyonce stint in the inauguration. Was is not good? I'd like to watch the video ut I'm having a hard time with my internet connection. So intrigued.
