Nas, Grammy Awards 2013: Rapper Tells Dave Grohl Hip-Hop Should Get More Love

Nas thinks the Grammy Awards could show more love to hip-hop.

"It's cool," he told Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl during an episode of Chelsea Lately Tuesday night (Feb. 6). "But I feel it could be a little bit more love though. Hip-hop is making a lot of noise. It should get some more spotlight."

Nas has conspicuously been nominated for a whopping 18 Grammys during his career and yet has never taken home one of the coveted awards (Check out: Rap at the Grammy Awards: 10 Hip-Hop Grammys Gone Wrong)

Perhaps this year he'll take home his first trophy.

The Queens-bred MC is nominated for Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song for "Daughters," Best Rap/Sung Collaboration for "Cherry Wine" featuring Amy Winehouse, and Best Rap Album for his chart-topping 11th LP Life is Good.

The Grammy\'s are about as bad as Nelly\'s music. They both are garbage.
