Dr. Dre Returns With 'It's Like That'

Looks like we've got a leak, folks. "Can't rush perfection, so thanks for your patience," Dr. Dre proclaims on 'It's Like That,' a track rumored to be on his highly-anticipated album, 'Detox.' So true, Dre!

The super-producer/rapper's forthcoming project is expected to be his last album. "I think it's time to move on," the 43-year-old rap icon said in 2007 interview. He went on to call rhyming "a young man's game." Nevertheless, it looks like the West Coast icon is ready to make his comeback.

Young Jeezy, Kanye West 'Put On' for Their Cities

Drumma Boy created a quality track worthy of two hit-making rap stars. Unfortunately, someone thought it would be a good idea to go the T-Pain route and ruin what could've been a flawless verse from Kanye West. While Young Jeezy sounds like his normal scratchy-voiced self, West is accompanied by a vocoder a la Snoop Dogg's 'Sensual Seduction.'

Yeezy still kills it and dramatically spits/sings "I feel like there's still n----s that owe me checks/I feel like there's still b----es that owe me sex/I feel like these butt n----s don't know he's stressed/I lost the only girl in the world that knows me best." Listen to 'Put On'

LL Cool J Returns With a Shoutout to New York's Five Boroughs

Veteran rap star LL Cool J is back with a new track dubbed 'The 5 Boroughs is Back.' Lil' Kim, Jim Jones, KRS-One and Method Man represent their 'hoods -- Brooklyn, Harlem, Bronx and Staten Island, New York, respectively -- on the rock-tinged track, which we can safely assume will act as the LL's comeback single off his forthcoming album. The track is far from the Queens, New York rapper's usual 'I love the ladies' sound, leaning in a much more hardcore direction than LL's notable releases.

Beyonce, Lil Wayne Give Usher's 'Love in This Club' a Makeover

How do you make an already hot single even hotter? Toss R&B diva Beyonce and platinum-selling rap star Lil Wayne on the remix. Usher's 'Love in This Club' gets a makeover with a little help from B and Weezy. Usher crowns Beyonce as the "queen" (easy Usher! Remember what happened last time someone referred to someone besides Aretha Franklin as the "queen") while proclaiming to be the king on the sexy track, which is slightly smoother than the original.

Busta's Back With Untouchable Single

Busta Rhymes returns with buzz single "Don't Touch Me (Throw da Water on 'Em)," from upcoming album 'Blessed.' Produced by Sean C and LV of the Hitmen, the conga drum-powered track follows the same format as 2006's 'Touch It' where Bus-a-Bus goes from subdued, rapid fire delivery to straight wiling out on the hook. The song marks a return to form for Busta, and a lesson in breath control for all the studio-punch-in rappers of the world (looking at you Lupe!).

Kanye West Teams With Nike for Air Yeezy

Kanye West, one of the most talked about artists, has teamed up with Nike to release one of the most talked about sneakers. West gave fans a sneak preview of the kicks, which appear to glow in the dark, on his blog. The rapper/super-producer has been sporting the kicks on his recently launched "Glow in the Dark" tour. There's no word on the actual release of the exclusive Swoosh sneaker.

Nas Calls Out All Races in New N-Word Song

The wait is over! Queensbridge, N.Y. emcee Nas takes no prisoners on the new single 'Be a [Insert N-word] Too,' off his highly anticipated upcoming album, '[Insert N-word here].'

The rap star shouts 'Critics, eat a d---' as he rhymes about the controversial pejorative term that many rappers have been criticized for using in their music. The track, which is meant to express that the N-Word is used by all races and ethnicities, was produced by Salaam Remi and Big Jack.

Dem Franchize Boyz Return With 'Feel Good' Song

Looks like Dem Franchize Boyz are back. A new track dubbed 'Mr Feel Good,' produced by Mannie Fresh, has surfaced on the internet. The 'White Tee' boys' new song gets a "R" rating as they rhyme about their "good wood" -- not oak or cherry. The Atlanta-based foursome are scheduled to release their second album, 'Da Point of No Return,' in May.

Young Buck Takes His Frustrations Out on the Microphone

Young Buck, who was recently ousted from G-Unit , isn't letting his beef with 50 Cent keep him down. The Cashville rapper decided he'd take his frustrations out in the studio. The rapper kicks off the track, proclaiming "It's two sides to every story," before launching into lyrics that express some of the issues Buck had with his former crew.

Even Beyonce's Nightmares Are Beautiful

Looks like R&B diva Beyonce is back in the lab working on new material for her as-yet-untitled third solo album. The Polow Da Don-produced track dubbed 'Beautiful Nightmare' has been leaked onto the internet and its expected to be the first single off the singer's new project. According to reports, the singer's new album is due this fall.

In the meantime, the 10-time Grammy winner is producing and co-starring as Etta James in the 1950s period flick, 'Cadillac Records.'

The Roots Title Track 'Rising Down' Hits the Internet

While Roots fans patiently await the release of the hip-hop band's 10th album, websites continue to create buzz around leaked songs, including the title track 'Rising Down,' which features Styles P, Mos Def and Dice Raw.

The track differs greatly from the previously released, airy 'Birthday Girl,' featuring Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz. 'Rising Down' is an amalgamation of politically charged lyrics touching on racism, "greenhouse gases" and materialistic ideals.

The Philadelphia-based crew is scheduled to release 'Rising Down' on April 29.

R. Kelly Lashes Out on Leaked Track 'I'm a Beast'

We all remember R. Kelly's "R&B Thug" days. Well, looks like Kels is returning to his tough-guy image with the new dis track 'I'm a Beast,' which has recently leaked onto the Internet. The singer resorts to yelling/rapping on the track while asking, "What's it going to take for you n----- to realize that I'm a R&B boss?"

It's not clear what sparked the singer's latest musical tirade, but it could be directed at a number of people. Kelly is being sued by R&B sensation Ne-Yo's camp for dropping the younger singer from Kelly's 'Double Up' tour. He's had prior public beef with Jay-Z and a rumored disagreement with Young Jeezy.

"I would call out some motherf-----' names, but it's so many of you motherf------ hatin.' Song ain't motherf----- long enough," Kelly proclaims at the end of the song. Sounds like Kelly means business.

Jay-Z, Mary J. Blige 'Humbly' Say 'You're Welcome'

Slow down Hov, you're killing 'em. No, really, slow down. Jay-Z continues to boast about being the "best rapper alive" as a humble Mary J. Blige adds her smooth vocals on the Swizz Beatz-produced track, 'You're Welcome.' Before we even had a chance to thank the two superstars for their contributions to hip-hop and R&B, the pair took time out of their busy schedules to say 'You're Welcome.'

In typical Jigga fashion, the rap star spits lyrics that continue to deliver his message that we are blessed to have him in hip-hop. "You'll probably never see it again/Somebody so deadly via the pen/Viva Hovito, my nino, muy bien/Big up to Biggie and Pac/I do it for them," Jigga rhymes. Meanwhile, Blige takes the more modest route with lyrics like, "If it wasn't for your love this would all be a dream/And ya'll made our dreams come true/That's why ya'll don't need to thank us/Because we do this all for you."

It's not clear where the new track lives beyond file-sharing websites, but rumor has it the pair released the track in anticipation of their 'Heart of the City' tour, which kicks off March 22 in Miami.

Redman and Method Man Return with 'Broken Language 2008'

Looks like hip-hop's dynamic duo, Redman and Method Man, are gearing up for a comeback. There were rumors that the pair were working on new material, and it looks like the first evidence of an upcoming Red and Meth album comes in the name of the leaked single 'Broken Language 2008.'

The rappers borrowed Smoothe the Hustler's '96 track of the same name for their anticipated comeback single as the Funk Doctor spits fire with lyrics like "I'm poison, Bell Biv DeVoe with the pen/Me and this rap s--- going to be friends to the end/Hip-hop ain't dead, but it's swimmin' with a limb."

The Roots' Black Thought Drops 75 Bars on Leaked Track

After much buzz, it looks as if the legendary Roots crew are moving closer to delivering their 10th album, dubbed 'Rising Down.'

Beginning with an appropriate drum roll and solo, a track titled 'Black's Reconstruction' -- also referred to as '75 Bars (Black's Reconstruction)' -- has been leaked onto the Internet. The song features the Roots' frontman, Black Thought, spitting pure fire on the chorus-less, bridge-less track.

'Rising Down' is set to include collaborations with some of the usual suspects, such as Common, Talib Kweli and Mos Def, with surprise appearances by Lupe Fiasco, Styles P and Fall Out Boy's Patrick Stump.

The Philadelphia-based hip-hop band is scheduled to release 'Rising Down' on April 29.
