Notorious B.I.G. will forever be part of my hip-hop DNA. Him going on Hot 97 threatening to kill DJ Clue for leaking his unfinished, unmastered record 'One More Chance' was the catalyst that made me decide to be a mixtape DJ. The adrenaline rush of a true hitmaker calling you out with millions tuning in was an experience that I almost hate DJ Clue for having all to himself. B.I.G.'s hits made me, and the whole East Coast, feel unstoppable. Bad Boy's hip-hop monopoly fueled heated competition, which gave birth to West Coast artists, then the South. And finally, I was also born in Brooklyn, so it makes me proud to see proof that if you are talented you can escape poverty. B.I.G. for life!
