In the two years that Ja Rule has been in prison, his career has witnessed more highs than it had in his six-year hiatus between albums -- prior to heading to jail. His 2004 album, 'R.U.L.E.' was certified gold a long time ago, and Ja had a number of legal issues following its release. While those public marks kept his name in the conversation, his music took a backseat. Once he started his prison sentence in 2011, Rule wrote diary entries, released audio bits of him talking and ultimately dropped his new album, 'Pain Is Love 2,' and people actually cared. Does jail make him more productive or something? Let’s hope not.
