Does anyone realize that Cassie has only had one album? Her seductive LP, 'Me & U,' is
over six years old. A botched BET performance, rumored romance with Diddy and a
shaved head -- well, half of a shaved head -- kept this woman afloat since 2006. You know
what’s worse? People still talk about her. Now she’s immortal. Wikipedia calls her follow-up album “Cassie’s second album,” with no release date in sight, which means it probably won’t see its 2012 scheduled debut. It doesn’t have to. That 'King of Hearts' single may be the last one, but Cassie will always be a thing. Like the movie 'Fame,' her name will live forever.
