Treach & Pepa: Hip-Hop's First Power Couple Tie the Knot

Before hip-hop power couple Jay-Z and Beyonce, there was Naughty By Nature's Treach and Salt-n-Pepa's Pepa, who had an all-star hip-hop wedding on July 24, 1999. There was no surprise they would have an all-out bash, since they came from two of rap's most notable groups. The 300-guest ceremony was attended by Queen Latifah and Foxy Brown, among others while Rev. Run officiated the wedding. Treach wore a brown suit and Pepa donned a gown with rhinestone straps and Manolo Blahnik pumps. The two met after recording an episode of MTV's "Spring Break" and subsequently made an engagement official. However, the couple's marriage wasn't happily ever after, and they divorced in 2001.
