Kelis & Nas: Bride Dons Bright Green Wedding Dress

Kelis and Nas' wedding was unique in many ways. The venue was decorated with crystals, trees and plants but the most eye-catching spectacle was what the bride chose to wear: a bright green wedding dress. The rap star opted for a white tux while his lady love chose to walk the aisle in the most non-traditional gown in hip-hop history. After getting engaged on Christmas Eve 2002, the two tied the knot on Jan. 8, 2005, in Atlanta, Ga., where their first dance was to a song by The O'Jays. The couple had a short stint as hip-hop and R&B royalty but Kelis eventually filed for divorce on April 30, 2009. She left behind her green wedding dress after she made the split. As a result, Nas chose to feature the gown on the cover of his new album Life Is Good.
