On Oct. 17, 2010, Monica confirmed that her boyfriend, Los Angeles Laker guard Shannon Brown, had popped the question with a 10-karat ring, all in front of her parents. The following month, the couple quietly got married to confirm their union, and then set out to plan the big celebration ceremony with family and friends on July 9, 2011, in Los Angeles. Their grandiose wedding had a 40-piece gospel choir and Monica definitely made sure to have her "All Eyes on Me" moment with a flowing gown that was decorated with a 50-pound train.
