The Game has been known to tell a tall tale or two, but his newest yarn takes the cake.

According to the Game, recently deceased pop legend Michael Jackson attempted to intercede during the height of the beef between 50 Cent and Game, calling the Compton rapper/fan in 2005 and offering to play "peacekeeper" between the feuding MC's.

"I was on tour in Canada, sitting in my room, cutting my hair," Game told MTV News. "I was messing my hair up. Then my road manager knocks on my door. Boom, boom, boom. He told me, I got MJ on the phone. I ran and snatched up the phone."

50 Cent is putting the blame on his label for making him release so many club songs. The Queens, NY, born rapper stated in a recent interview that labels don't market "hard-core hip-hop." According to 50, his label, Interscope Records, pushed him to make club friendly songs to increase his record sales.

"If you don't make a record that can actually play to a certain amount of audience, " he said. "There is no possible way you're going to get the marketing dollars necessary to promote the project to the point that you have the huge successful records that I've had. I've made enough street material prior to 'Get Rich Or Die Tryin' for you to forget 'In Da Club' was 'In Da Club.'

Looks like 50 Cent will be rolling with a new crew this summer. 50 will join Adrian Grenier and co. when he appears on HBO's hit series 'Entourage' in August.

The rapper was spotted, alongside executive producer Doug Ellin and cast members Jerry Ferrara and Grenier, filming a scene for the show in a white Rolls Royce convertible last weekend.

'Entourage' has gained a large amount of popularity within the hip-hop community since its inception in 2004. Rappers Snoop Dogg, Kanye West and T.I. have made guest appearances on the hit series while Saigon and Bow Wow have recurring roles on the show. Lil Wayne is expected to appear as himself on the upcoming season.

The sixth season of 'Entourage' kicks off on July 12.

Having successfully portrayed a drug dealer who gets shot and takes up rapping in 'Get Rich or Die Tryin',' Vitamin Water millionaire 50 Cent (a former drug dealer who was shot and became a rapper) has decided to finally get serious about his film career.

50 has upcoming projects with both Forest Whitaker and Jermaine Crawford, and a film version of his forthcoming album in the works, but probably most surprising is the cop drama 'Caught in the Crossfire' that he is slated to produce and star in.

The film features 50 as a former gangster-gone-government informant, and will also be executive produced by Violator Management head honcho, Christ Lighty, and actor (and former Tupac co star) Tim Roth.

Many eyebrows were raised when rapper 50 Cent's $1.4 million dollar Long Island, NY, estate was set on fire in May 2008. The incident occurred around the same time he was in the process of having the mother of his child and ex-girlfriend Shaniqua Tompkins, who also has sole custody of their son Marquis, evicted from the home.

Initially 50 Cent, who's real name is Curtis Jackson, denied having anything to do with the fire and reports are now surfacing one year later that authorities also believe the rap star was not involved.

Rick Ross lays 50 Cent to rest in his upcoming video for 'In Cold Blood,' off his third studio album, 'Deeper Than Rap.' Ross released a trailer for the video this past weekend and it's pretty clear that the track (and video) is aimed at his recent rival.

The Miami boss attends a funeral for the Queens, NY rapper, who is known for his constant "beefs." This time around 50 may have met his match as Ross continues to respond to attacks with intense verbal and, in this case, visual assaults.

But the ongoing beef may be over soon. In a recent interview, Ross admitted that his battle with 50 was becoming "boring" and that a battle with Eminem would be more entertaining. And in a possible attempt to get Em's attention, Ross told DJ Envy that he's not a fan of the Detroit rapper's video for his comeback single 'We Made You.'

In a recent interview with Los Angeles radio personality Big Boy, of Power 106, 50 Cent claimed to possess a video tape of Miami rapper Rick Ross in a correctional officer's uniform.

"I have a video tape of the actual graduation," 50 said, casually. "That still photograph [which depicted Ross in the prison guard's uniform], I have a videotape of that. I got like 60 photographs. I got his life story in photos from different time periods. He actually used to deliver medications, before he was a correctional officer."

Though Ross had previously contested the authenticity of the photo, and denied ever having been a correctional officer, he has since admitted to his past vocation, after having entered into a longstanding beef with 50 over something no one can actually remember.
