The plot thickens in the Scott Storch grand theft auto case. The producer's former girlfriend, rapper Lil' Kim, has been named as a key party in the legal matter. In 2007, Storch's lease on his Bentley expired and according to reports, instead of giving it back to a Florida-based leasing company, he handed Lil' Kim the keys as a gift. The Bentley was repossessed from Kim's New Jersey home in 2008 and bloggers assumed the matter was an indication the rapper was in financial straits.

Last week Storch pleaded not guilty to charges of grand theft auto. Shocked at the charges, Storch's lawyer released a statement stating, "We are disappointed in the decision to take a civil dispute and file it as a criminal charge. There are many facts, that when revealed, will clearly demonstrate that there was no criminal wrongdoing on behalf of my client."

Lil' Kim has been holding her own in this season's 'Dancing With The Stars,' but it looks like the pint-size rapper may have to take it easy due to an injury she acquired last week during rehearsal. Kim went to visit the show's masseuse before her April 7 performance and it was there she discovered she'd popped a rib out of place and bruised a muscle.

"I have a small injury, well it's not small, but I popped my rip out earlier this week and ripped one of the muscles under my rib. I didn't know," Kim revealed. The 'DWTS' masseuse was able to push Kim's rib back into place, and despite being in pain following the procedure she still managed to get through the performance.

Kim has been instructed to rest and ice the troubled area, but the rapper plans on moving forward and says learning her routine for next week is top priority. "There is no time to relax. We have to learn the jive and it's really energetic -- what do I do? I'm excited for the dance, but the injury has me a little nervous."

In a recent radio interview, rapper Lil' Kim reiterated her dislike of the biopic 'Notorious' and spoke about her plans to make a film centered around her life. Kim explained that she felt 'Notorious' was like watching a spoof and that there were numerous aspects of her relationship with the Notorious B.I.G. that were left out and just weren't true.

"It's crazy, you know, you'll hear about it. I'm really gonna address this issue once and for all and I'm gonna get detailed about it very soon. Definitely [there will be a movie] but it's gonna be about Lil' Kim, it's not gonna be about Biggie. There's nobody else that can tell the story except for me."

In other news, Lil' Kim was forced to delay the video shoot for her new single 'Download,' featuring T-Pain and Charlie Wilson, due to Pain's recent freak accident. The singer/producer lost four teeth and suffered minor injuries after a golf cart accident on March 27.

In the meantime, fans can watch the pint-sized rapper sashay across the dance floor on ABC's 'Dancing With the Stars.'

Rapper-turned-singer T-Pain has allegedly been in a golf cart accident, forcing Pain to miss his scheduled appearance on Lil Wayne's "I Am Music" tour in San Jose, Calif. this past weekend.

The golf cart debacle left Pain with cuts and bruises on his face, and he lost at least four teeth, according to reports. Due to the unfortunate incident, the "Ringleader" was also unable to appear in the video for Lil' Kim's new single, 'Download,' which features Pain.

Bad week for T-Pain and rappers with "Lil" in their names. Kim claims that Pain will still make it into her video, though. "We've gotta wait until he heals and gets better," the Queen Bee said. "So, to my boy T-Peezy, 'Get better baby. We can't wait to see you.'"

While Lil' Kim is two-stepping up a storm on 'Dancing with the Stars,' she still has some legal problems to tend to. The Brooklyn, N.Y. rapper owes $979,090 in both state and federal taxes. The delinquent payments, which go back to 2004, cross both New York and New Jersey state lines but also include negligent payments to the state of California. As a result, the IRS has filed tax warrants and liens against the Grammy winner.

"Lil' Kim is paying her tax debt and will continue to do so," her spokeswoman Lisa Perkins said in statement. Although Kim doesn't dispute the charges, as of late the 33-year-old performer has run into problems paying her bills. Last year her Bentley was repossessed for four missed payments.

Once a staple in the female rapper category, Kim has not dropped an album in four years. Her last project ,'The Naked Truth,' released in 2005 was received well by critics. Promotion of the album was minimal as Kim was serving an 11-month sentence for lying to a grand jury about a friend's involvement in a shooting outside of New York City radio station, Hot 97.

Rapper Lil' Kim has been named as one of 13 contestants to take the stage on the popular show, 'Dancing With the Stars.' The program, which falls into the "reality competition" category, pits celebrities with professional dancers for a week to week competition ending with the winner taking home a trophy and, in some cases, an opportunity to revive their career.

"It's the most diverse cast we've had," Deena Katz, the show's Senior Talent Producer said in an interview. "The women are phenomenal and the men are such great characters."

Kim's last television job was as a judge on the Pussycat Dolls 'Girlicious' reality show. This time around, her dancing skills will be put to the test while America votes on her fate in the competition.
