Orange County officers pulled over Shante Broadus' vehicle early Saturday morning and arrested the 32-year-old mother of three children. She was cited and given notice to appear in court.

Snoop Dogg Shoots Country-Themed Video, Plots Next Project

"I get to be a gun-slinging cowboy with my brim on, my boots on, my jeans on, my long jacket, jumping off a horse," Snoop Dogg said when describing the video for his country-tinged new single 'My Medicine.' The rap star has officially gone country and he'll showcase his new look in the upcoming video.

The emcee took the opportunity to branch out and try a variety of sounds on his latest project, 'Ego Trippin.' Snoop teamed up with producer/rapper Shawty Redd and played with a vocoder on the album's first single 'Sensual Seduction' and covered The Time's 'Cool' for a '80s funk vibe.

"I think I have more room than ever to do as I please," Snoop said in a recent interview. "I've made so many records that were true to hip-hop, true to Snoop Dogg and true to the West Coast and gangsta rap in genre. Now it's time for me to make records that feel good to me and [to] venture out."

The Doggfather is already plotting his next project, which is tentatively entitled 'Malice in Wonderland,' which was inspired by composer Lalo Schifrin. "He conducted some music for me that was so sinister, so evil, mean and dark," Snoop explained. "I just wanted to make a record like that. That's just the way I feel."

British Court Rejects Snoop Dogg Ban

A British court has lifted a ban on rap star Snoop Dogg after an immigration judge backed his visa battle with UK authorities. Snoop was banned from Britain after his 2006 arrest on charges of violent disorder at London's Heathrow Airport.

The rap star appealed the ban, and in January an asylum and immigration tribunal granted him clearance to enter the country. Britain's Border Agency challenged the January decision.

According to an UK newspaper, a panel of immigration judges has officially rejected an attempt by Britain's Home Office to keep the rap star out of the country. The British government has a week to appeal the court's decision. Read the full story.

Britain Fights to Keep Snoop Dogg Out the Country

Looks like Snoop Dogg is still in the doghouse in the UK. Britain's Border Agency announced Friday that it plans on challenging a court's ruling that barred the rapper from entering the country.

Snoop was banned from Britain after his arrest on charges of violent disorder at Heathrow Airport in London in April 2006. The rap star appealed the ban, and in January an asylum and immigration tribunal allowed granted him clearance to enter the country.

Britain was the only country to banish the rapper. In April 2007, Snoop Dogg was refused entry into Australia. Obviously not a fan of the rapper's 'Doggystyle,' Immigration Minister Kevin Andrews stated that Snoop "doesn't seem the sort of bloke we want in this country." Read the full story.

Snoop Dogg Slams Barack Obama

In what seems like a strange, not to mention arbitrary, move, Snoop Dogg made some scathing remarks regarding presidential candidate Barack Obama and the senator's campaign in a recent interview with the Guardian. Snoop claims Obama has received funding from the white supremacy group Ku Klux Klan.

"The KKK gave Obama money," the rapper tells the Guardian. "They was one of his biggest supporters." While there's no actual evidence to support Snoop's claim, the rap star seems to be sticking to his personal theory. "Why wouldn't they be? The media won't tell you that. They don't want you to know that. They just want you to know that this n----- befriended this other n----- who be threatening your values. But we all know all presidents lie to get into f---ing office. That's they job," the Doggfather rants.

Meanwhile, the rapper was singing a different tune when he sat down with Larry King to weigh in on the election, while promoting his family oriented reality series, 'Snoop Dogg's Fatherhood.' "I just want to see somebody win that's in the best interest for America," Snoop told King in February. "Whether it be a black man [Barack Obama] or a woman [Hillary Clinton] -- either one is a great move for America, because we need change."

The 36-year-old rapper will appear as himself in the longstanding ABC soap opera, which will feature performances as well as a few scenes where the rapper shows off his acting skills. Snoop has also recorded a remix of the daytime drama's theme song. The episodes are set to air on May 8 and 9.

"I've been a fan of 'One Life to Live' since I was a baby," said Snoop, who's set to perform 'Sensual Seduction' and 'Life of Da Party,' from his new album, 'Ego Trippin.'
